Our investment portfolios are designed to beat their index benchmarks. With over 20 years of experience and extensive research we have developed what we call our “Enhanced Core and Satellite” portfolio strategy. We start by building a “core” of enhanced index funds that use approximately 5% of the invested funds to track the returns of the index, they then invest the remaining money in a bond strategy thereby exceeding the returns of the underlying index. This passive investment approach provides a repeatable, proven and consistent way to outperform equity indices. We then compliment these core holdings by adding “satellite” active money managers with a proven track record of beating their respective benchmarks. The results are portfolios that have the opportunity to beat their index benchmarks consistently over a full market cycle. Outperforming benchmark indices by just 1% to 2% can have a profound effect on your long-term portfolio results.
